Peak District stopover

This stopover weekend in the Peak District is an 'organise your own accommodation' event. Derek has put together a list of B&B accommodation in Leek as none of the local hostels have spaces.

Currently people are staying over on Saturday night only. If you decide to stop over please put an entry on our forums, so that we know you are coming along.

The walks are Saturday at Wolfscote Dale and Sunday at Gradbach.

A small number of apartments, starting at £75 per night. If staying for only one night, they
do not allow you to cook for yourself (takes too long to clean the ovens out afterwards!!). Simple
breakfasts such as cereals and milk, tea and coffee are OK.

There are also a number of other smaller places with one or two rooms per property.

Further out, The Three Horseshoes Inn at Blackshaw Moor has a lot of bedrooms, mainly doubles,
starting at £77.50 per room per night. They do, however, have a wedding reception on the evening
of 13th March, which is likely to go on quite late!
